about
Elsa Palmieri sells fish during the day and records haunting synth extravaganza at night. Raised by a single mother, who was nothing less than an electronic music pioneer in the 60s, the eerie sound of early synthesizers and effects also provide the sound of her own music. Living literally at the end of the world (a place called Finistere in France) its no surprise her music is infused with an apocalyptic shimmer. This is especially true for her single "ox".
Gloomy analog synth glides on bass drum hits that echo like knocks on the door. Claps like whips, guitars tumbling out of rhythm and a ghostly choir.
"ox" will appear on Elsa Palmieri's debut album, which will be released in late 2020.
